The bamboo is cut into strips, 2mm (5/64″) wide and 0.2mm (5/640″) thick, and tinted light and dark brown, adding richness and depth to the weave pattern. Unlike our standard products, this bag is designed without a silk cord (‘sanada himo’), showcasing the woven bamboo pattern.
The chain is detachable (approx. 38cm (14.96″) long), so you can use this as a clutch bag or wear it over your shoulder. If you prefer a longer chain, we can supply a 90cm (35.43″) chain for an additional 500 JPY.
